We are so glad that you stopped by the Lone Star House of Quilts web site! Welcome! We are a full service quilt shop in Arlington, Texas. Our shop is at 1210 W. Abram St. and is easily reached from all directions.

Alice & David Cooksey are the owners of the shop and have been in business since January 2003. Alice is an avid quilter and lover of quilts. She asked a friend to teach her to quilt in 1989 and has not looked back since! She formerly ran a machine quilting business called Lone Star Custom Quilting from 1995 through 2001. David does not quilt but is very interested in the quilting business and a valued partner in the shop. Our highly talented staff includes Betsy Chutchian, Ruth Poole, Mary Schellhammer, Ann Jernigan, Kerry McCutchan, Sonja Kraus, and Cathy Rowell - gifted quilters all.
